Good evening,
I am glad to announce that the 1st ever Go Full Court camp is complete with only two injuries. An ear ache and a thigh bruise during the last minutes of the championship game. The kids played so hard and were so attentive when it was time. For a camp assembled in just three days having 51 kids participating and a staff of six incredible individuals is quite encouraging to seek another camp to offer. I want to thank everyone for showing up a little early today to witness camp's conclusion.
Today was full of games and more skill work. There were more competitive games and team drills then the three previous days. Both groups were great after lunches. The cafeteria was always left spotless. The gymnasium at the end of each day was picked up by the help of staff and the campers.
This afternoon guest speaker, Jeff Gore of Southern New Hampshire University, was nice enough to take a day away from recruiting to come speak to the kids about NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION. It is a skill that must be adopted at a young age and is very difficult to teach. But for those who 'figure it out' have such an advantage over other players (in any sport really).
To all who helped make this camp such a success THANK YOU! The word got around quick. And maybe the word about this camp will get around even faster. I will let everyone know by the 4th of July when the next camp is.
If anyone is interested in a 3-6 week program to work on the fundamentals and skills of the game twice a week for an hour than please email me.
Again thank you for making this possible. I hope to arrange this type of camp again!
Sincerely,
- Tim
